Early Results For the Top 12 Girls
DialIdol has some really strange early results for the top 12 girls voting last night.
Lakisha has a huge lead over everyone else with a clear first place finish. Her phone line was busy almost 50% of the time that voting was open. Nothing weird about that.
The weirdness starts in second place, which is Antonella Barba. Her phone line was busy 21.7% of the time, second only to Lakisha. Which is completely confusing, because she was easily in the bottom two singers of the night. What a terrible performance. She crashed and burned on stage and should be eliminated tonight, but if Dialidol is right, she probably won’t be. That’s just crazy.
Everything else is pretty good, except Sabrina Sloan is fourth from the bottom with a phone line that was only busy 11% of the time. Sabrina should be much higher up. Do people really think that Antonella or Nicole sang better than Sabrina? If so, they shouldn’t be allowed to operate a phone, and shouldn’t be allowed to vote in anything. Maybe these people are the reason that Bush was elected — twice!
The bottom two is fine, though. Alaina Alexander seems to have a pretty clear lock on last place, which is where she should be. Amy Krebs is just above her. I’d be very happy with seeing both of them go home tonight. Alaina was terrible, and Amy was just boring. Amy sang much better than Antonella, though, but I guess you can’t win them all.
I talked about the early Dialidol results for the guys yesterday, which were even weirder. Sundance, Sanjaya, and Chris Richardson as the top vote-getters? That makes no sense. I guess it’s the same people who are accidentally voting for Antonella?
I guess we’ll find out tonight if this is all true. Anyone reading this have different predictions?
