Results: Haley Scarnato Voted Off
Well, that worked out nicely. The DialIdol results were freaking me out, seeing Jordin so close to the bottom, but apparently they were pretty far off again. Phil, who was near the bottom of the DialIdol results early in the night but finished pretty high up in the end, turned out to be in the bottom 3 yet again. That’s two weeks in a row that DialIdol had Phil Stacey much higher up than reality (assuming American Idol isn’t playing any games with the results they’re telling us.)
And no Jordin or Lakisha in the bottom three. In fact, the bottom 3 was just fine with me. Haley, Phil, and Chris Richardson. That’s about right. Good job, America. And Haley getting voted off? Even better. Finally.
Now that the low end is taken care of — well, except for Sanjaya, but he’s a special case all to himself — we can see what happens when some of the better singers have to be voted off.
I’m still expecting the winner to be Blake or Melinda, though I certainly wouldn’t mind Jordin winning.

Akon? Who the hell? We saw him perform with Gwen Stefani a few weeks ago, and he did absolutely nothing. They kept mentioning he was performing with her, but he made just a few small sounds. And last night he did was Ryan claimed was a #1 song? That piece of crap is number 1? That was horrible. What a boring song.
Then we have Jennifer Lopez’s song, which was much more of a song, but still boring, which is quite a feat with the hot dancers and the pyrotechnics. You know a song is really boring when even hot girls and explosions can’t keep it interesting.
